GENERATION UM is a somatosensory interactive projection device that uses gesture interaction and animated scenarios to reflect the influence of public opinion on personal self-worth. The device consists of a visual image component and a dynamic mechanical component, primarily employing gesture-controlled animations for interaction. When a viewer approaches, infrared sensors activate the device, and LeapMotion detects gestures to play corresponding animation scenarios. The entire design aims to inspire viewers to think about the impact of others' evaluations on self-perception and to help them discover their true selves through interactive experiences. This project not only merges art and technology but also provides a platform for users to engage in deep reflection and self-exploration.
